Abram Farms opened in 2016 on 84 acres of woods, open pasture, and a 6-acre pond in Spencer, Indiana. It was designed from the start for weddings, and nearly a decade later that's still all it does — one wedding at a time, with the barn, the pond, and the house all on the same land.
Our purpose
A wedding is more than a single day — it's what unites two families and opens a new chapter. Our goal at Abram Farms is to make that day feel effortless and personal: timeless scenery, thoughtful amenities, and hands-on support from Rachel throughout planning, so you can focus on the people in the room.
How we got here
Abram Farms opens as a wedding venue on 84 acres in Spencer, built around a barn and a 6-acre pond.

Abram Farms is run by Borrowed & Blue, with Rachel Kring as venue director — and Lakeside Manor lets the wedding party stay on the land.

"I'm the venue director at Abram Farms. I graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a bachelor's in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management, and I've worked in event operations, coordination, and guest services. I run tours, planning sessions, and wedding-day operations here, and I'm passionate about creating a seamless, memorable day for every couple who chooses Abram Farms."
Outside of work, Rachel stays active with pickleball and running, and spends her free time with family, friends, and her dog, Oakley.
